Sugar and Spice summary

Sugar and Spice is about a girl called Ruth Spicer, her sisters are Kez and Lisa, she’s jealous of them because they get more attention and doesn’t get told when they do bad things. Her brother’s name is Sammy. He gets spoiled more then her sisters, Ruth thinks it’s because he’s a boy. There’s alot of sexism in her family, according to Ruth.

She hates going to school, she loved going to school when she had a teacher called Mrs. Henderson. She said that you could be anyone you wanted, and didn’t laugh when you said that you wanted to be a doctor. Her dad didn’t believe in her that she was going to become a doctor. Her mother suggested that she could become a nurse but she wanted to become a doctor.

She only has 1 friend in school, her name is Karina. When she got to school, it was alot of chaos. She met a girl called Shayanne Sugar, she was new in school and she looked like a model. It was kind of cool because their name was the opposite, Sugar and Spicer.
